It's a decent Chipotle. For the most part they load you up on everything else, except for the meat. If I could describe the meat portions that they give out at this place, it's, "stingy". lol So on more than 75% of the occasions I've been here, they always grab one whole spoonful of meat, then sift out some of the meat from the spoon, so I'm basically getting less than 1 spoonful portion of meat. Therefore, this leaves the meat-to-vegetable and rice ratio very high. I could probably count about 15 pieces of small chicken bites, in which every 1 bite of chicken, I would have to eat 3-5 bites of veggies and rice.....soooo.....I think I'm basically paying such a high price for the vegetables and rice, and getting gypped on the meat. Chipotle, if I wanted to become vegan, I would go to a vegan restaurant or make veggies and rice myself. I'm traveling to you to get the whole enchilada, veggies, rice, meat and all, ya know. Not a sprinkle of meat either, or a spoonful of meat that is shaken a little to get some meat off of the spoon, but at least a spoonful of meat that is decently-portioned...to go with the amount of veggies and rice, ya feel me?
Love the food. Have been staying away due to news reports. However, store was clean, food was fresh. Will continue to go. Counter help needs a little more training on portion servings.
Chipotle offers a variety of Mexican cuisine including burritos and bowls. I prefer the bowl over anything else. I have been here quite a few times and I always notice there are new people working every time I come. The thing is, if you hire someone, you have to train them...properly. I asked the cashier for a cup and he was confused and had zero idea where the cups were. Also all the servers have a frown on their face as if they were in hell. A burrito and a drink will tally up to about $10. I honestly think the food should be a little cheaper. The food overall is pretty decent but sometimes the chicken tends to be a bit chewy. The place is always packed so they're doing something right. Take a shot and try it out. One more thing I forgot to mention, where are the napkins, forks, knives? They always take them away for some reason and never restock.
It's clean, quick, and easy
In The Morganville area this is your go to Chipotle. It's a typical Chipotle restaurant you get everything you need the folks are pretty friendly. They will throw in a few extra things once in awhile. They also have fresh jalapenos here if you ask for it. So do not let go of them for your guacamole.
They serve food in good portions here. Just be careful the lines can get pretty long although they do move fast.
Why do I keep coming back to Chipotle, when I know they put some sort of msg additive (because I fall asleep within 30 minutes of eating it and wake up with a headache), when I know that is has a high sodium content, and when I know that there might be a 75% chance of stinginess on the meat portion, I will never know??? Maybe it's time to stop visiting Chipotle and make my own bowl of yumminess?
