This place has a really cool vibe. It's self seating which I liked because it gave us plenty of options to sit. We went on Thursday during happy hour and we were fortunate enough to have Kelley (or the rainbow pen wizard) as our server, and she was awesome. She knew the menu very well and even asked about our flavor pallets to recommend the perfect drink. The drinks are actually really good and they have a large selection of beer on draft. The signiture martinis are actually delicious. The food was really good considering that it's a bar and not a restaurant. We ordered the veggie flatbread to start with and it was amazing. Not too filling but just hit the spot. I got the voodoo pasta which was packed with flavor, and my friend got the California Chicken club and she said the ingredients really worked well together plus the tots are awesome! I was really happy with the overall experience and I'm definitely coming back for not only the food but the great service as well. If you ask for Kelley, she's honest which is refreshing and her recommendations were spot on.
For someone considering this place as an option to visit, please read and believe the reviews you see on here, because they're all 100% accurate when they say that the staff and management are absolutely rude and provide the most terrible customer service you will ever receive in all your experiences.
As I was leaving I saw the manager, pulled him aside, and told him that our service was the worst I've ever had. And with there being only 5 tables with customers, the service should have been nothing but exceptional. I also mentioned that I won't be back because of the service. Now, the food was just OK. The sliders were super dry and overcooked and the pot stickers were alright.
I decided to go here based on couple people telling me the food was pretty good, but the service is atrocious.
Once the food arrived, the waitress asked if everything was alright and that was the last time I saw her. I went about eating my food and I had to flag down a different waitress to get a new drink because the right one disappeared. After I was done eating I waited a good 15/20 minutes for my waitress so that I could ask for the check. I kept looking around and she was just never around. Finally she showed up and I paid.
While the restaurant has a nice ambiance and good happy hour deals for drinks (which are great), I have given this place one chance after another after every bad experience giving them the benefit of the doubt, and they succeed in providing worse and worse customer service every single time.
Worry not, you will never see me again, or all of the additional customers I would have brought along with me to somewhat keep that place alive because as others mentioned here, the place is always empty. One can imagine why that may be. It's the unappreciative staff that keeps the customers away from this place.
When submitting a complaint on their website, no one responds to you. There are plenty of other ways of getting your voice heard today and therefore, I have been sure to bring this up to the Executives for BL Restaurant Operations, LLC.
I want to give more stars, but unfortunately the service at the bar is keeping me from doing that. The happy hour drinks and food were good. No complaints. But why did it take 10 minutes of sitting at a nearly empty bar to get a hello, nevermind a drink? My friend and I were 2 of MAYBE 8 people there with at least 3 girls hanging out behind the bar at the start of happy hour. Girls. It's happy hour. You should be ready to go as soon as it starts. Eventually the bar was packed. It took at least 20 minutes for someone to take our money so we could leave. Meh.
Now to anyone looking at the menu for this place, go elsewhere. It's just regular bar food wrapped up in a modern-ish upscale vibe.
Came here today with my daughter and granddaughter for granddaughter's birthday lunch. Had cheese and chicken quesadillas and shrimp tempura for apps, both yummy. My daughter and granddaughter had cheeseburgers, I went with the Luigi sandwich. None of us could finish our sandwiches, something was just off with the taste of the meat on all of the sandwiches, like old meat that was cooked a week ago. We cashed out without ordering desserts and my daughter brought the leftovers home with her. Long story short, all three of us got home with extreme stomach pain and my granddaughter got violently ill. My daughter immediately threw out the leftovers so no one else in her household ate them. Today was the first visit for all of us and certainly will be the last. Never again and definitely do not recommend at all.
I stopped here on a Sunday and to my surprise there was almost nobody here. There's a huge oval bar (50 seats maybe), a huge dining area, and tons of outdoor seating. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered a couple appetizers to munch on. They were the pot stickers and the pig and pepper sliders. I took a look around and there were only 5 tables with customers.
I have experienced times when our server was nowhere to be found for a good 15-20 minutes at a time even when they were slow, to a time when there was plastic in my food and the server/manager just brushed it off by saying "oh it must have been from the packaging" but never once stopped to apologize for it, and today when I made the manager aware of a misunderstanding of a brunch deal that I have come for countless times at the location for months, the manager not only refused to honor the deal for a one time's sake for a loyal customer that comes here time and again overlooking their terrible service and not only that, also always recommending the place to friends and family for their atmosphere, the manager humiliated me by telling me "I hope I never see you again."
